In memory of Roger Austin
It is with great sadness we learn that Roger Austin, founder of Winross, has passed away. Roger Austin will always be remembered as an innovator in the die-cast scale model truck market bringing new ideas to the industry that are an important part of the foundation of the die-cast truck field- both from a collecting aspect and a corporate promotion aspect. We remember Roger as a man who never thought something could not be done only about how he could do it.

New Sticker?
Based on the popularity of the Freightliner Guy trailer, which apparently is now sold out (we can't find any left for sale anywhere) there are rumors floating around that Tonkin Replicas might change the foil sticker that is in every Precision Series box. Here was one concept, submitted by an anonymous collector going under the name "US Mail Guy." Rumor is not confirmed.Labels: rumors
