New bullbar, roo bar, cariboo bar, reindeer bar... whatever your name for it is, the new Tonkin Replicas version should look something like this...

Tonkin Replicas has added a trailer hitch to its Precision Series dump truck. The first units delivered that have this hitch are to Peterbilt dealers although there are black and white Kenworth dump trucks coming in a few weeks that should be available at most resellers of Tonkin Replicas products. The trailer hitch was designed with the short term interest of the small trailer that was developed for the Sterling LT9500 material handler. That said, it might be difficult to get one of those trailers as they are not widely available on the collector market yet. Medium and long term there are a lot more possibilities...

While some scale model truck manufacturers have cut back on offerings, due to the economy or for other reasons, Tonkin Replicas continues to offer more and more options. Already offering the lowest quantity of fully customized scale model trucks for fleets, now Tonkin Replicas has more options for scale model truck customizers- the guys who custom build or scratch build one or two trucks at a time. Attached are a few quick iPhone photos of a new "official parts" box. There are a few different options, the photos here show a few parts from the Cascadia. There are other parts available for other cabs... More on that later. These should available at most participating resellers...
