Today's Ebay action

A few things from E-bay today. One was Item M84101 which was a Kenworth T800 that featured a 2-axle 28' double setup done for Lynden. Lynden is a huge company that gets involved in just about every form of transportation there is. You can read about them here. This unit is for sale here by Duane Ellis who operates LittleBigTrucks in Texas.

I saw Joe Garlington had an interesting unit put together, matching up a 1:64 scale First Gear tractor with a PEM 1:64 scale 40' container. Interesting mix. At the current bid ($10.50) that is a great deal. Garlington has also listed the Byrne Dairly T800 with double 45' trailers and double axle dolly. Huge piece- these boxes weigh a ton (OK, not really a ton, but they are heavy).

I don't know Trainsntn, but I do remember the Peterbilt 379x made with the XL lowboy.Link At that time we were using the larger, oversized box. Still a good piece.

Maybe the best deal I saw, however, was an old Consolidated Freightways model offered (at the time of this posting) for $14.99. Not exactly a new run, but still one of the best. Featuring an FLD-120 non-sleeper cab and double 28' trailers in the custom CF box.

Going back to 1:87 for a minute, I saw giraffeenancy has been starting most bids at $8.99. I am not familiar with that seller but that is a good deal. Like this Navajo unit.
