Resurrecting the Classics
Joe Garlington and Duane Ellis of Little Big Trucks have teamed up to resurrect two classic fleet designs - Willig and Pacific Intermountain Express (P.I.E.). Pacific Intermountain operated their International COEs throughout the West and became known as “America’s Motor Freight Mainline.” Another pioneering West coast fleet, Willig, featured a unique and instantly recognizable design that is still remembered today. The Volvo day cab was the first conventional tractor Willig employed, and ended up being their last before they ceased operation.
